we ship from our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia. 

orders are packed and shipped 1-4 business days from ordering. express parcels will be shipped within 1 business day from ordering. please note we are a small team and we individually pack orders ourselves. each order gets a unique tracking number. please allow extra time during busy periods, such as Christmas.

please read over our rates and shipping details below for domestic orders and international orders. we ship domestically and internationally with Australia Post and Sendle.

standard post: free :D
(1 - 7 business days) please allow extra time for rural and remote areas.

express post: AUD$20
(1 - 3 business days after dispatch) please allow extra time for rural and remote areas. 

please note that any delays that occur after your order has been dispatched from our warehouse are unfortunately out of our control.

 

rest of the world

standard post: AUD$30 Flat rate (10 - 30 business days) please allow extra time for rural and remote areas. 

please factor in shipping times and duties, particularly international customers as we are not responsible for any matter regarding the custom policies or administrative fees and duties that may apply in a customer's country. we recommend that customers track their shipment from their end to be notified of any developments.

 

 

returns & exchanges

we allow returns and exchanges for change of mind. refunds and exchanges will be for the original order value minus any postage costs. 

returns and exchanges can be done at no cost in person at our warehouse in Windsor, Melbourne. 

for returns and exchanges via post, postage costs will be at buyers' expense.

environmental Impact

tala is dedicated to creating the most sustainable and clean shipping options for our customers. We are constantly assessing and updating our practices to ensure we keep up to date with the latest opportunities to minimise our carbon footprint and best manage our waste. 

packaging:

we use both Better Packaging Co and Biogone mailers. please dispose of in your general rubbish bin.

once Biogone landfill-biodegradable mailers are disposed to landfill, biodegradation is accelerated approximately 90%+ faster than conventional plastic mailing satchels, producing an organic matter (a natural fertiliser) and no microplastics.

Better Packaging Co POLLLAST!C mailers are made from 100% recycled Ocean Bound Plastic pollution.* excluding seals and inks. these mailers clean up the environment and help break the cycle of poverty and plastic pollution at the same time.
this packaging is designed to be recycled with soft plastics, however in Australia, the REDcycle scheme is currently not operational. the industry is working hard to create new recycling solutions, but in the meantime, Australian customers are advised to dispose of this packaging in the landfill bin.
while this is far from ideal, rest assured that a managed landfill is a far better place for this packaging than where it was before it was recycled into POLLAST!C mailers- abandoned and polluting the natural environment.
